A smooth white cylinder with diagonal ridges that catch light like flowing water. The thin shell glows softly and the ridges throw gentle shadows.

Prototype 2
Vertical ribs that twist as they rise, so the lamp looks different from every side. The ribs let light stream through in thin bright lines.
Prototype 3
A dark shell cut with a repeating star pattern, based on the traditional Japanese hemp-leaf design. Light escapes through the cut-outs and scatters across the desk.
